I had the privilege of exploring Belize for two weeks in April 2023. When the direct flights became available, I quickly decided that’s where my next trip was going to be.
I flew to the mainland first and took a pre arranged private transfer for about 2 hours into the jungle, where I stayed for my first week. The Ka’ana Resort had 12 units, situated privately throughout the luscious, well kept property. We explored caves, animal sanctuary, and an amazing cooking class with two local women.
The second week was spent on Ambergris, one of Belize’s Cayes. We stayed at CoCo Beach Resort, which had amazing customer service, beautiful grounds and easy to get around the island from there. The resort offered Golf Cart Rentals right from the property, which made it convenient for guests. We tried many local restaurants and street food, which was so delicious. We spent a lot of time roaming the entire island, including San Jose.
We had such a great time and look forward to returning again to explore more areas of this beautiful destination.
